Initial Tasting and Consultation:  You are invited to schedule an initial tasting and consultation with our Wedding Coordinator, Laura.  We offer both pick up and in person options. The tasting fee is $15 and includes your choice of any 4 of our classic or signature flavors, and any icings or frostings you would like to try; additional traditional cupcake samples are available for $3 each. Prepayment via online invoice is required to schedule.

If you would like to sample any of our gourmet or custom cake flavors, we can prepare a 6 cupcakes or a 6″ cake for $20 for you to sample and take home – we will also need the frosting request for this flavor.  We do sometime have other gourmet options in stock, in which case, you may purchase from what we have in stock. We require 48 hours advance notice for any gourmet cake flavors you would like to purchase because they will need to be specially made for you. Typically, all traditional and gourmet frostings and fillings are available to sample. If you are interested in sampling other dessert options, please let us know in advance and we can do our best to accommodate those as well, although many may require additional tasting fees. You can find a list of flavors and basic pricing on our website.

Custom Designs: We’re here to assist you in designing the cake for your special day. Please bring any pictures or drawings of a cake you would like or cakes that inspire you. Cake, filling and icing flavors are for you to choose.  The flavor listings attached are suggestions, not a fixed menu. We offer unique wedding cake, cupcakes, and favor solutions for brides and who are looking for something different.  We’re flexible and can suggest cakes to fit most budgets.

Servings: Traditional wedding cake serving sizes are 1”x 2” x 4”.  During your initial free consultation we’ll discuss shapes and sizes to meet your guest list needs.

First Anniversary: We offer a FREE 4” layer cake with every wedding (Minimum order $350).  It’s our gift to you to enjoy on your first anniversary. Many options are available including saving and freezing the top tier, getting a fresh one the following year, and more!

Flowers and Greenery: Decorating with fresh flowers is a beautiful and popular trend.  Your florist will need to make sure the flowers and foliage are safe to place on an edible cake. Your florist should deliver the flowers and place them at the cake table. The florist or our staff can arrange the flowers on your cake. There is a minimum $15 floral placement fee pending the intricacy of the floral design.

Favors: Many wedding planners recommend edible favors over any other and they are a favorite of guests.  Would you like a cookie in the shape of your wedding cake or maybe one with your picture or monogram on it?  Or would you like a decorative box filled with buckeyes or cake balls?  Our favors are displayed in an attractive bag or box with a ribbon of your choice.

Groom’s Cake: Many couples like to have a special cake at the wedding to reflect the groom’s interests and do something special for him, as so often the spotlight is on the bride.  These cakes are often 3 dimensional.  We’ve done racecars, computers, trucks and more.  As an all occasion full service cake company we can make that for you too. A popular trend is to serve the groom’s cake at the rehearsal dinner where the environment is more fun and relaxed.

Cake Knife and Table: You will want to have a cake knife, server, fork, napkin, and plate at the cake table for your cake cutting ceremony. Many caterers supply these items, but you should check with your vendor.  Your table should be covered and skirted by the event staff – we do not provide linens or cutlery.

Cake Toppers: There are many options for cake toppers – flowers, monograms, and figurines are the most popular choices.  We have options available to order and we can make some custom toppers; however, most couples like to provide their own., Amazon, and craft stores like Michael’s are great resources.  We require information regarding your topper before delivery so we can make sure it will be secure on your cake and prefer you take it directly to your venue for us to place upon delivery.

Delivery and Setup: Delivery fee inside Dublin is $25. Outside of Dublin, the delivery fee schedule applies:
10-15 miles: $35
16-25 miles: $55
26+ miles: $55 plus additional $3/mile
Sunday deliveries: Additional $25 plus delivery fee 
Setup fees are included with some of the rental of many of our cupcake or cake stands (most ranging from $20-120). Additional set up fees from may apply to dessert bars or weddings with many details, small pieces, or unique requests. We typically request a 2-3 hour delivery window before the reception.

Equipment Rentals: We offer many different options for cake, cupcake, and dessert displays.  Some you can pick up and set up yourself, others require set up by our staff.  Most rentals range in price from $20-100. Any rental requires an Equipment Rental Agreement. This is usually guaranteed with a Visa, Discover, or Master Card and is only charged if equipment is not returned in the agreed upon time frame and in the same condition it was delivered. Set up of your cake and cupcakes is typically included with the rental fee. Stands/displays typically range from $25-$150. The customer is responsible for the return of rented items. We do offer a return pick up service (typically $75 based on delivery location and pick up time).

After the Wedding: When the cake is delivered, we will leave a letter with directions for freezing your anniversary cake, if applicable, and a list of equipment to be returned.  We find it best for you to choose someone responsible for the breakdown and return of rented items before the wedding day.  This cuts down on confusion at the end of the busy wedding day. Equipment return is typically due within 4 days of your event. If you would like us to pick up the equipment from your reception location, the charge is a $75 minimum based on mileage. Key Dates to Remember:

  • Schedule a cake tasting: 3-12 months before your wedding. In person tastings are reserved for couples who have booked their wedding date and venue.
  • Reserve the date: Reserve your date with a $100 non-refundable/transferable deposit.
  • One (1) Month Prior to Wedding: Your final payment and signed contract is due no less than 2 weeks before the wedding with your final count and any necessary changes.  Any order with a rental will also need credit card information to guarantee the equipment replacement fee should that be necessary.
  • After the Wedding: If you have rented any items, it is your responsibility to return them by the Wednesday following your event.  Please let us know in advance of your event if you need to make special arrangements outside our business hours.  This is also a great time to write an online review of your experience – many of the online wedding websites like The Knot and Wedding Wire offer rewards for writing a review on their website!
  • Your First Anniversary: If you have ordered a free anniversary cake, please call our shop a week in advance to confirm the flavor, date, and time you would like your cake ready for pickup.
