Happy Mother’s Day everyone! We hope you were able to enjoy the nice weather this Sunday. Typically, every summer we offer camps for kids. This summer we will also be offering adult decorating and baking classes on Monday nights. Below are the summaries of the classes offered. Check out additional information and dates of classes at

Baking Classes

Aunt Sandy’s Cinnamon Yeast Rolls (B1) We’ll take the mystery out of baking buttery yeast rolls. You’ll roll, cut, bake, and ice a pan of dripping cinnamon yeast rolls to take home. 1.5 hours

Linda’s Lolly Cake’s (B2) Lolly cakes…the hottest trend in cake desserts. 1.5 hours

Our CupCakery Cookies (B3) Cookies seem like the simplest of baked goods, but not the way we decorate them! Try some new cookie icing techniques including color flow, royal icing, rolled butter cream, and fondant décor. See why our sugar cookies often cost more than our cupcakes. Choose your own shape; roll out and bake about a dozen cookies, then decorate. 2 hours

Decorating Classes

Cupcake Decorating Class (D1) Join us for our cupcake decorating class, the 1st class in our new series! Learn the basics: filling and using icing bags, tips, and spatulas. Then decorate 6 cupcakes with our “secret technique”. Also, learn tips on icing handwriting. 1.5 hours

Cake Decorating for Beginners (D2) Try your hand at decorating cakes! In this class we’ll show you how to properly ice a 6” cake to take home. Learn how to trima cake with simple borders and decorate with flowers, leaves, and stems. 1.5 hours

Filling and Decorating Layered Cakes (D3) Do you already know how to ice a cake but need some tips on filling layered cakes successfully? Learn to fill a 6” two layer cake and decorate it with the shell or reverse shell border, bows, polka dots, and drop flowers. 1.5 hours

Fabulous Fondant Cake (D4) Been watching all the cake shows on TV? Learn to cover a cake in fondant and make a 3-D tiffany bow like the pros. Take your beautiful 6” cake home. 2 hours

Roses and Rosebuds (D5) We’ll show you how to make roses, rosebuds, stems, and leaves with both fondant and butter cream. Your flowers will be placed on 6 cupcakes decorated by you to take home. 2 hours

Open Studio Night (D6) This class you’ll learn the butter cream design transfer trick and brush embroidery flowers. This a great class for the more experienced decorator who also wants to know “how do they do that”. Contact us in advance and let us know what you want to learn during our open studio time. Take home a 6” cake. 2 hours

Supplies and baked goods for each class are provided by Our CupCakery. Purchasing a decorating kit is suggested and can be ordered. Please notify us in advance of any food allergies. Classes are intended for adults and skilled teens. We value your time so classes will start promptly. You may want to arrive a few minutes early to get settled before class begins.
