What is a Cupcaketree?
It is a cardboard, five-tier cardboard tree which is perfect for displaying and serving lots of delicious cupcakes. However, it's not limited to cupcakes. Think any hors d'oeuvre or dessert that fits on the tree.

Only four tiers of this Original Cupcaketree are used in this wedding display.

Do cupcakes come with the Cupcake Tree?

How sturdy is the Cupcaketree?
The stand was designed by an architect specifically to bear the weight of hundreds of desserts or appetizers. The Cupcaketree features a slot and groove truss structure which evenly distributes the weight allowing you to place as many cupcakes as you wish in the tiers. The top tier can be used for any number of decorations such as floral arrangements and small cakes for the cutting ceremony. The weight limit for the top tier is 20 albs. Back to Top

What is the size of the original Cupcaketree?
When fully assembled using all five tiers and crosspieces, the Cupcaketree measures 21" high. The discs range in diameter from 34" on the bottom to 10" on the top. The crosspieces are 4" tall allowing for items nearly as tall as 4" to be placed on each tier.

Each tier of the tree measures 10, 16, 22, 28 and 34 inches in diameter. Back to Top

How many cupcakes will the original Cupcake Tree hold?
The Original Cupcake Tree will hold between 50 and 300 cupcakes depending on how many tiers are used. For a large party, all five tiers plus the table top can hold 300-plus cupcakes and for a small event, two tiers will hold 50 cupcakes or less.

Using a 3" diameter cupcake, the Cupcake Tree accommodates approximately eight on the top tier, 20 on the second tier, 30 on the third tier, 50 on the fourth tier, 75 on the fifth tier, and 100 on the table top.Back to Top

What are the dimensions of the Mini Cupcake Tree?
The diameters of the tiers are 8", 11", 14", 17" and 20". The crosspieces that fit in between the tiers are 3" high, bringing the total height to 15".

The Mini Cupcake Tree was designed to accommodate from 20 to 100 cupcakes.

Using a 2" diameter cupcake, you can fit seven on the 8" tier, 15 on the 11" tier, 18 on the 14" tier, 24 on the 17" tier and 36 on the 20" tier. All tiers do not have to be used and desserts can be spaced out with decorations in between so that the Cupcake Tree looks full even with a small amount of desserts. Back to Top

Is the Cupcake Tree easy to assemble?
Yes. The Cupcake Tree is a modular structure consisting of five discs and ten cross piece uprights. The discs have slots and the cross pieces have tabs which fit easily and securely into the slots. We've found the average assembly time to be between five and ten minutes. Back to Top

How can I decorate the Cupcake Tree?
We have found that double-sided tape is great for affixing decorations to the outside edges of the tiers. Simply run the tape along the outside edge and adhere ribbon, doilies, lemon leaves, silk flowers or whatever you choose. For more decorating suggestions, click here. Back to Top

Can I use the Cupcake Tree more than once?
Many customers have found that if they cover the tiers of the Cupcake Tree in foil or plastic they are able to use it again. Also, a nontoxic household spray paint or a good quality acrylic paint can be used to moisture-proof and extend the life of the Cupcake Tree. Back to Top

How is the Cupcake Tree shipped?
We can use your shipper of choice: UPS, Fed Ex or the US Postal Service. The dimensions of a single shipping carton are 36" high, 18" wide and 4" deep. It weighs 6 albs. And can easily be transported in most any vehicle. Back to Top

How soon can I expect delivery?
Plan on receiving your order in two weeks or less. Longer delivery times can be expected for orders shipping outside the continental US. Back to Top
