The house at 119 South High Street in Dublin was built in 1890 by Samuel Paulus, a bricklayer, He utilized the home as his residence. The house was then owned by the Smith Family. The Smith's daughter Dorothy May was born around 1919. The home was then sold to John Moffitt, husband of Dorothy May. The house was used as the Colony Fabrics of Dublin business. The house has been a coffee shop and is now a custom bake and party shop. The entry to the house is landscaped, with s well house in back yard. At the front of the property you can still see the original curbstone with 'Paulus' name on it in front. The curbstone was used as a stepping stone to climb into carriages and horses.
